SandieS
We have bought a wood burning stove and all the parts needed for fitting. Could any one recommend some one who could fit it for us? We live near Chabanais (Dept 16)
Dick Smith
We had ours fitted by the shop we bought it from, but most general builders will do it - at a cost. The trick, of course, is finding a builder who isn't now working a 2005 or 2006 diary...
Will
It's probably too late for SandieS, but worth pointing out for others that the supplier of the stove will often fit it for no extra charge (they can do that because supplying and fitting a stove attracts 5.5% TVA rather than the 19.6% you'd pay when just buying the stove) - you pay for the stove and any parts, e.g. flue pipes. We opted for the same stove, from the same supplier (in dept 50), as Dick's and are very happy with it. We ordered ou stove on, I think, a Friday afternoon, and it was fitted and working the following Wednesday.
