opas
Yes we arrived in France on the 26 AUG 2003(deffinatly a tuesday if the date is wrong) and did the final enrolment for our children on the wednesday , after being informed by various sources inc OUI CAN HELP! that school france wide started back the following mon?tues, only to find our girls ,one maternelle(sp) one CM2 were to commence school on the thurs 28 aug would be an understatement to say we were shocked and the girls disgusted as they had had a shorter holiday than their UK friends!we were not alone in going back to school on this date as the tv news was full of the rentree for the next few days! CHECK WITH THE SCHOOL THEY WILL BE ATTENDING as i feel it is important that as new kids any way it would only be worse if they started school later than the rest of their class.
