Gastines
Our neighbour's 20 year old daughter, a student at Rennes University wishes to find a few hours occupation to fill her time during the Summer holidays before taking up a teaching post in the UK in September. She is a quiet, well-educated, respectable young woman with a current driving license and an excellent command of the English language and business skills. Ideally, she would like to teach pupils up to the age of 16 yrs and help them to improve their understanding of the French language and way of life. She is based just outside of St Malo at St Pere Marc en Poulet and could accomodate pupils either at her home or theirs for lessons. She would appreciate any other sensible suggestions enabling her to use her expertise to its best advantage, thankyou. Mrs Gastines. PM direct for details. Chancer
Good luck to her, I hope she finds someone to benefit from her recent training, I met a girl (slightly older but in the same situation) on the great barrier reef, we made a pact to stay in touch so that she could teach me when I finished travelling and moved to France.I didnt know at the time that I had malaria and that my travelling would soon end, 3 months later the first thing I did when arriving in France was to travel to Grenoble to take her up on the offer, it was the best time and money that I have ever spent.I have had a local tutor since who is now a close friend but she wasnt a patch on Chloe's dynamism after having spent several years at the grindstone in the Lycée education system.I am myself considering doing another intensive course during les vacances but I suspect that logistics would rule out your neighbours daughter, I will give it further thought though.EdittedI have just reread your post and even on a good day no-one would think that I[:)] was
