mary
Can anyone tell me how you qualify for rentree money for all the kids bit's. I have finally been accepted by CAF and had money backdated for the last year, but do you have to register for the rentree allowance, does it automatically get paid if you have kids at school\when will it get paid\what is the allowance and I assume it is based on earnings. Thanks in advance

Val_2
From what I can remember we used to receive a form for Déclaration des Résources from the CAF at the beginning of the year to which your previous year's tax results were entered and then sent back to see if you qualified or not as everything here is means tested. Without this I don't think you automatically receive the payment if you qualify so you may have to go to the CAF personally with your Avis d'Imposition for 2009 and do it there and then.
