Val_2
Well if you are city dweller I wouldn't bother buying anything new or too special as it is bound to get damaged or vandalised from what Parisien friends tell me. For the country anything you fancy really although I would draw the line at an Aston Martin as it may cause your neighbours to be a teeny bit jealous. There are promos all the time at the dealers and some good second hand bargains to be had. If you are living/plan to live in France you really do need a left hand drive for safetys sake on overtaking. Also depends on whether you have a family to take about too as to the size you require and whether of not you want diesel or petrol.
Jc
Something like a Land Rover Defender-preferably with bull bars front and rear and the bodywork is aluminium-stops the scratches going rusty(another part of the Family of Ford).
Richard-R
Some thing from the land of the rising sun and diesel for a main car, excluding a big ugly 4x4 unless you live on a farm. Than a classic car for fun at the weekends.Richard (Aude)
