Val_2
Just found a smashing little car for my daughter today. As a matter of interest I looked up the cost for the same second hand vehicle inthe local paper where we used to live in the UK via the internet and guess what, all models were more expensive with more miles on the clock and they were a couple of years older than the one we have found here. So, anyone who says the UK is cheaper had better check again, times are a changing.
Redcap
Hi all!I have been looking at used LHD prices in the UK, and they seem to be very overpriced. So my plan now is to ditch(not literally) our Uk car before moving over. We are taking one way flight, then hire a car for say 3 weeks whilst we then look for French used car. Hopefully this will save all the hassle of importing etc. The cost of hiring a car will just have to be absorbed into our general moving costs!Regards,Bob
Alcazar
Anyone who tells you the UK is a cheaper place to buy a car is either:a) dreaming.........wake him up,b) on drugs.............avoid him,c) deranged.............see above,d) a UK car dealer...........see b)e) A UK Labour MP............(I'll leave it to your imagination what to do with him)Alcazar
