0marushkaddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue
Last June ( can hardly believe a whole year has passed!!)We purchased a French Peugeot van in Laval...and now it's due for it's control technique ...Problem: there is a small (about 4inches long) crack at the bottom of the windscreen. It was there when we purchased the van and hasn't got any bigger in a year. Unfortunately the windscreen is mentioned on the CT document as being in a 'mauvaise etat'...referring I suppose to this crack. I am a bit worried as to what will happen re this at the CT....any advice greatly appreciated!!! Marushka xx
Teamedup
Change it. Most insurance companies allow for this on their policies without affecting no claims.

Insurance usually covers this but watch out for any excess regarding replacemetn windscrens - often around the 50 mark in the UK. But then again, French insurance may differ??Andy SpencerFrancophile in Essex
