Nick Trollope
Silly question perhaps, but do Motorcycles (ie real motorbikes!) have/need a CT, or is there an equivalent?Have looked at several s/h bikes and it never seems to be mentioned..Nickhttp://www.aplaceinfrance.com
Lf
No control technique is required which can make buying a second hand bike privately a bit dodgy, especially anything a bit older. Always check that the engine and frame nos. correspond with those in the Carte Gris. It's also a good idea to get a 'certifcat non gage' for the bike from the Prefecture before parting with yor cash.Another point - all serious changes from original spec. should be noted on the Carte Gris as when you insure it they cover what is on the CG and if the bike is found to be different in the event of a claim the insurance will be invalid.RegardsCharleshttp://www.lesflamands.com/hr
