I have just had the log book back from the dvla and on the front it has as well as in other languages it says certificat d`immatriculation. Question is will I still need to get the letter of conformity from opel or will this new type log book do when I come to reg the car in france.ps just sold my beloved probe now gutted Dave
Iceni
Recommend that you ask yr local Prefecture for a list of required docs when you get here. We had to provide a DRIRE attestation not a C of C.Good luck anyway with yr Vauxhall.John

Chas
I re registered a RHD Frontera in 2000. Sous Prefecture in Saintes 17 gave me a form (in English) on which I had to fill in the details from the vehicle identification plate - VIN etc. That went to DRIRE who, I believe, did the necessary checking from computer records. But, as has been said so often before, different departments different requirements. Good luck.
