Crevette
After discovering my car had been damaged, my insurance company said they will pay the cost of repairing it WITHOUT it affecting my Bonus/Malus providing I report this to the police.Apparantly I need to "deposer une plaint contre x".Once I have an official document from them, the assurance will pay the cost of repairing the vehicle.Any idea where I need to go to do this? (I live in Paris) and . I thik they mensioned something about the "police commisioner office"...?Regards,-Rob-
opas
YOu must visit your local Gendarmerie(sp) where you will be asked lots of questions , some relevant and some not seemingly relevant(ie your mothers maiden name?!!) you will sign the statement you make and then be given what looks like an A2 size certificate called a porte plainte(sp) to take to your Ins. Hope this sketchy advice helps. Mrs O
Teamedup
Just go to your local police station or gendarmerie, in the city's it is usually a police station.
