Does anyone know if its possible to insure on this basis (ie for reduced amount) or whether we have to pay the full whack as if the bike was being used?In addition, If anyone knows an insurer who will insure in the former circumstances please could you let me know. Val_2 Posted March 22, 2005 Share Posted March 22, 2005 We keep our old car locked in the workshop all the time and havn't used it hardly at all for the past five years since buying a new one. No problems with insurance, I just downgraded it to the lowest possible to cover for third party,fire and theft and just for the driver butno passengers.
