We need a normal years commercial policy to drive in England, but one that also has 6 months European cover/ Green card as we are coming to France in 4 weeks for a period of 6 months. The van whilst in France will only be used for private use.I have tried all Insurance companies and brokers in the Uk but no one will give European cover for more than 90 days and we are running out of time to sort this out.Please can anyone advise who we could try.Many ThanksTara & Justin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boris Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 i am insured with cornhill direct its a fully comp commercial vehicle policy that covers me anywhere in europe the same as if in uk and for £71 pa extra i had full euoropean breakdown cover as well.your main residence must be in the uk an your vehicle must be registered and taxed in uk,and you do'nt have to inform them when you are travelling abroad the cover lasts the full 12 months duration of your policy.
