Janjo
Recently whilst clearing a lof, I found some loose floor boards. On lifting them I discovered that underneath were corn stalks/heads, onions, and walnuts. None looked recently placed there, but has anyone an idea why they would have been put there in the first place and by whom (or even what)? Nick Trollope
We have a similar "issue".Mice (or similar), is my guess (or perhaps large rodents, such as edible doormice?). They don't seem to be around anymore.

Best advice is to nip the problem in the bud, block any holes and remove anything edible / organic from the area, also set a trap or lay poison.. I'm normally quite "Wildlife Friendly/Tolerant" but that was truly disgusting !! Paul
