Tarn Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Maybe a silly question but, we're looking ap purchasing a car in Germany, put it on transit plates, head down to France and register it there. We will have all the necessary documents. However, as we're not resident yet would it be a problem at all to register it? derf Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 If you have an address in France and all the documents needed to re-register the car, then take your proof of address normally EDF / Telecoms Bill with you, when you go to register and I can't see why you would have a problem, they just need an address to put on the Carte Grise.
