Chrissie
Has anyone any idea what the tyre pressures ought to be for a trailer? We have a metal trailer 1m wife and 1m50 long and about 35 cms deep, (so doesn't take very heavy loads). I have been totally unable to get anyone, including the firm who sold it to me, tell we what the tyre pressures should be. My pump and gauge are in PSI, so a PSI answer would be helpful. At the moment I have got them at about 15......Chrissie (81)
Anton Redman
At a guess double the pressure the 30. Also have a look and feel at the tyres when cold, if you press them in with your hand then they are probably too soft.
Mlonghurst
It will depend on the weight of the trailer and the type sizes. We havea rice richardson horse trailer with 165R13C 94/92N tyres and the normal pressure for these is 62PSI. Rgds, Mike L

Chrissie
Thanks to everyone for their replies, esp Alane and Sanjon. I now have two nicely pumped tyres and know the max weight I can carry at what pressure. Great.Chrissie (81)
