jehe Posted October 16, 2005 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Not sure if this is the right section for this request but anyway -here goes!!We are looking for a tractor,preferably with a front loader and back hoe.Also a grass cutter would be useful.We are also interested in buying a dumper truck.We have 35 acres of graft coming up so the above vehicles would be much appreciated. Patf Posted October 16, 2005 Share Posted October 16, 2005 This was one of the first projects we tackled here and it was very exhausting but a good learning experience. Assuming you're in a rural area, if you drive around a 40k radius or so you are sure to find several places where they sell second hand tractors, then compare prices etc. You will also find lots for sale in the local papers. We eventually bought a nearly new one with various attachments. Eddie also considered having a new one shipped over from UK - to assemble yourself. I don't know about Indre, but here in the Gers there are many farmers giving up therefore lots of agricultural equipment up for sale. Good luck - Pat.
