Even insuring french cars tends to throw up a great deal of difference in quotes depending on franchise,type of cover and driving experience etc. You may also find that using the same insurers as for your house and/or other vehicles it comes out a bit cheaper for "bulk buying", we certainly found that in the case of our daughter's first car. Sunday Driver Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 We insure all our vehicles through MAAF - they provided the cheapest quotes by far. They classed our Vauxhall Corsa as an Opel, so there was obviously no additional charge for it being an english car. We also got the full NCB bonus on production of our most recent UK renewal quote.
