car part exchange

have recently purchased a new car,my existing vehicle was taken in part exchange,

the price offered for my vehicle was tabulated by computer,age of vehicle,mileage covered, etc.

On this form was the following,(Frais et charges professionels 15%) and some 1264 euros was debited against the final figure offered.

could anyone please explain why this charge is made,I was purchasing a new vehicle at the time.
