Ty Korrigan
Hello, My works van had Continental 'van contact' all round and the front pair did 36,000miles before needing replacement. The replacement pair of Dunlop which cost 150euros the pair from 'Vulco' seem to be wearing rather fast and I estimate they shall need replacing well before 20,000miles is up. Can any-one recommend a really hard wearing tyre available here in France....?I asked for commercial vehicle quality tyres but I am not certain I was sold them especialy considering the price point...I drive very carefully although I tow a heavy trailer from time to time... Thanks in advance
Sunday Driver
TyWhy not go back to the Continental Van Contact tyres? I've got Contis on my 525d and with careful driving they've hardly worn at all in this last year (25,000kms)
Ty Korrigan
If I wanted quickfire sarcastic remarks from a Radio 2 listener wearing comfy slippers bought from the back of the Sunday express then I would have called Terry Wogan himself! Not really only joking! I am glad that you also confirim that they are also hardwearing tyres. I shall look harder as I'd rather pay the extra money for the better product.Incidently I have Continental on some of my velos and they do last forever, often blowing a side wall through age before the tread is finished. Thanks again.
