Just found this link for checking on the gage or non-gage situation of a secondhand vehicle you might be wanting to buy

If you are buying a sexcondhand vehicle from a private person,. they

are obliged to supply you with this but this is a very convenioent way

of checking and supplying it.

If you buy a vehicle and there are outstanding parking fines, speeding

tickets etc. apparently they are transferred with the vehicle and

become the responsibility of the new owner if the paperwork is not

correct.

Your response link refers to people using multiple postings across the forums to pose the same questions or tout for employment, so it's a bit unfair to criticise Racerbear for this particular dual posting.

He's put up an important piece of information which a lot of people aren't aware of and given the number of members who don't bother to check out any reference articles/stickies/useful links before diving in with questions, the double posting is a good idea in this instance.

It refers to duplicate posts.
