Frogslegs
[:(]I have lost count of the times that the Mondeo as been knocked...mostly parked in supermarket car parks....perhaps it's because it is right hand drive?Anyway last time we left it near Ruffec, someone decided to knock part of the rear wing off! It's not worth repairing professionally so does anyone know where to buy a fibre glass kit from?
Bugsy
Try Roady, there's one in Civray, but I don't know about Ruffec.
Dick Smith
What colour is the Mondeo? I once had a gunmetal-coloured car that kept getting hit. I got rid of it in the end...

Bugsy
We have a 'shopping', car an old Citroen AX, that's covered in dents. Perfect for French supermarket car parks.

We've just been out shopping and the gear selector rod snapped off, leaving me with just third and fourth to get home with.Stupid little bracket, snapped in two, and far too feeble for the job it has to do. Anyway out with the welder, a bit of extra bracing and it's now all fixed and back on the road...............................[:$]
Dick Smith
I had an Austin Maxi once (dunno what came over me, M'lud, I promise never to do it again) and the whole gearchange assembly fell out of the floor pan. In Clapham. In the rush hour...The crappy spotwelding just gave way.
Bugsy
We had a Maxi too, what an awful car. British Leyland in the days of 'Red Robbo'. Ours caught fire in the drive of our house and destroyed itself. Ruined my new tarmac drive too...........................................[:D][:D]
