Pierre ZFP
Saw something a little odd just after Christmas and wondered if it was 'au norm'. I was going down the A16 from Calais and as I came off the slip at junction 4 I saw blue lights in my mirror (it was dark). I pulled to one side and a large ambulance ( 'private' one, not a pompiers) came past and went to the toll booth. I expected the barrier to lift and it would be on its way but no, money changed hands before it could go. I was really surprised as I thought the ambulance would have free passage or at the very least a telepeage Doofer. Is this normal? was the ambulance driver trying to get a freebie by having his lights on? If the driver had no money would he ask the poor guy in the back for a sub? (\__/)(O.o ) <--This is Bunny.
