Teamedup
That is what they say they do in Canada. Makes one very nervous when driving.
cooperlola
Shucks, now I have to look at the sky as well as the speedo - will I have enough time to look at the road...?[:D]
BJSLIV
Its a regular feature on the French news around holiday time; Gendarmes in a helicopter liaising with motorbikes teams to pull in drivers on the Autoroutes. Its not just for speeding, but also for driving too close together, or remaining in the overtaking lanes for too long. Dick Smith
That's the blighter that got me on the A3!Well, not really, but it would be a better story, worth £60 of anybody's money.
Jonzjob
Sounds like a good idea to me. Speeding deserves a booking, driving too close deserves a good kicking and staying in the outside lane is just stupid ignorance! If you stay within the speed limit, observe the 2 second rule and use the overtaking lane to overtake then you don't need to watch your back, front or top. It gives you the perfect chance to observe the road and the conditions that you are driving in... Sounds logical to me, but then before I moved over I was a member of the big I AM [8-|]!!! Dick Smith
I appreciate the lines painted on the road in France which show the safe stopping distance to the car in front.
