phylisbide Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Well yes it was that old romantic notion of the open top, pretty 2cv Dolly, the baguettes on the front seat and the wind in my hair... you know the notion. Had a lovely journey down to 24 in the green and white Dolly (actually we called her Daisy) on D roads or less all the way from Caen. Took 2 days and then we used the car for the rest of the week. Since then she has been languishing in the garage and my husband is only a whisker away from saying I told you so - as we haven't used it since. So, no tax or papers - what should I do with her? Quittus fiscale certificate from your local tax office, CT test, type approval certificate from Citroen France (Attestations d'identite), Immeuble Colisee, 12 Rue Fructidor, 75835 PARIS Cedex 12 (Tel: 01.58.79.79.79) then off to your prefecture to register. 35 euros to register it, 20 euros for number plates, insurance for 20 cents a year...See the FAQ at the top of this forum section.
