oglefakes
Hi, I'm trying to sus what I am likely to pay to insure a van, such as a Ford Transit. This would be as an Artisan, so commercial use (?) will attract a premium I guess. Thanks and Cheers
Sunday Driver
If you were still in England, what would you do to find this out? I guess you'd pick up your yellow pages and start ringing round.....Alternatively, you could take a trip into your local town and do the rounds of the insurers. That way, you'll get precise quotes. Val_2
Our trafic is 12 years old now,2.2L high top model, as we bought it a few months old and is used for our business and although getting a bit tatty has a very good and maintained engine. Costs approx 650€ year(don't have the exact price because all our accounts are currently being done for the tax year) BUT there is extra cover for the tools and materials kept inside when being used elsewhere that we had included. We have also had a few accidents over the years with it too. We have another newish vehicle and have just the insurance quoted at 200€ LESS than we previously paid if we opt for the limit of 20000kms per year cover which we have cos we tend to work very locally these days. Don't forget that you need it CT'd yearly for the emmissions.
