Suninfrance
On the piece of paper that you tear off the vignette to put in your windscreen - on the left hand side, there is (in small writing) a note saying you must sign. The place to sign is quite small. I also believe that all drivers of the car must sign.

chessfou
I also believe that all drivers of the car must sign.[Suninfrance]
How certain are you of that? Our conseiller at our bank (Caisse d'Epargne) who set up all our insurances (2 cars & house) insisted that only the "insured" need sign (in our case, my wife, since our conseiller managed to put everything in my wife's name; so I am named as another driver on the insurance of my car but do not need to sign the cert). The "Green Card" appears to agree with our conseiller (except for use in UK & Cyprus, in which case all drivers must sign). Teamedup
And that is why we both sign every time. Evites us forgetting when we arrive in the UK and means we will be legal when we get there.
