Bugsy
Just a couple of tips following a visit to the prefecture today to change our driving licences.Married women need to take their birth certificate (showing surname at birth)Take a stamped/addressed envelope for each applicant. You could ask how we know this.............................[:D]
Iceni
Neither of these tips were necessary 2 weeks ago in 46. I submitted Di's forms (mere women cannot be trusted to carry out complex tasks) without a birth cert, I did not take an envelope with me so Mme behind the counter handed one over for me to add our address and the Prefecture added the stamps. Licences arrived 7 days later. As per usual national rules are applied differently in different depts.John
