DerekJ Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Can anyone tell me if we are likely to have a problem hiring a van in France with the hirer (me) having a UK licence?We will have a French address for our soon be completed on second home. He had a UK licence - still has - and we had only been here about 3 months so we were not well known locally nor thought of as 'du coin' at the time.Sue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess it's only the same a hiring a car abroad on a UK licence but I wasn't sure whether the fact that it will be a van might make a difference.
