chirpy
What is a fair cost that you should pay someone using their own car /k.m.??This in UK is normally found from the AA. Is there a figure used in France for employees or anyone else.??thanks.cost per small medium and large engine sizes would be usefull.

Clair
No, it doesn't work like that! That would be too easy![:D]The CV rating is shown on the certificate of conformity and on the reg documents.

chirpy
I AM IN A NON PROFIT MAKING CLUB.Members sometimes do errants and we have for the last 4 years been paying 0.20euro/k.m. when they have used there own car as a re-imbursement.I am now responsible for this work and believe this figure should be increased and that is why I raised the question.travelling /month could be maybe 50k.m. for about 3-4 members of the committee.would the scales Clair sent be the fair ones to use and bearing in mind the decrease in diesel/petrol prices is there a table for 2009?thanks. cooperlola
I am currently in the throes of making an insurance claim which will include mileage covered by my o/h whilst visiting me in hospital. The agaent quoted 0.3 per km without knowing what kind of car we drive. So Clair's figures look pretty much on point to me. Fuel is, after all, just part of the cost per km.
