At first I was told that I needed a Cerificate of Conformity to be issued froim Audi France, but have since been told that one issued in the UK will be applicable EU wide. Sunday Driver Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 You're just on the borderline, date wise....Check the manufacturer's plate (it's usually found under the bonnet). If you find a number in the format e--*--/--*----*-- then your Audi will qualify for an EU certificate of conformity which you can obtain from Volkswagen GB.If you can't find this number, then your car is pre-EU type approval so you'll need an attestation d'identification (French type approval certificate) from Volkswagen France.
