connolls
Hi,We are in france until 29th july and it appears we have a slow puncture or leaking valve, does anyone know if you can get puncture repairs in france just until we get back to the UK. I think they are cheaper to buy back in the UK if I need a new one ????? Thanks Mel.
Anton Redman
You can get repairs but only in specefied areas of the tread. You can also buy sealant repair kits at hypermarkets which would probably work if it is the valve. I take it that you have a car with a spacesaver. Bugsy
Just take it into any tyre place and they'll repair it for you. A new valve or repair within the recommended area of the tyre will not cost a lot and it will be safe. That 'gunge' in the aerosols makes a real mess inside the tyre making a vulcanised repair afterwards almost impossible. Gardian
Just to echo BB's post - €20-ish should be about the price.
Owens88
Tyre repairs in France should be safe. Reasonable economically in our experience. No real argument for delaying. Lots of arguments against delaying. John
