water spaniel
Am I correct in the assumption that it is the vehicle that is insured in france and not the driver, as is the case in the UK? Some friends are visiting our house in France next week and I don't mind them driving the French registered car if that is ok.
Pickles
Most (apparently not all, judging by previous posts on here) French car insurance policies cover the vehicle for any driver: some will only cover named drivers comprehensively; in this case other drivers are only cover for 3rd party damage. Check your policy wording.RegardsPickles
