tonyv
I have a 2003 RHD Audi A6, which I'm thinking of registering in France. The car has a small lever by each of the headlamps which rotate the bulb to change the beam alignment, which seems to be quite effective.Do any of you experts know whether this is adequate to convince the vehicle inspectors that the car conforms to French standard, without changing the (very expensive) headlamps? Anton Redman
Should be OK given you will need a CT you could ask at a station if they would pass the beam pattern on the promise you will take the car their for the CT. Controlle Technigue = UK MOT except they are issed by independant stations not garages.
Rob Roy
I did that - booked our Citroen C5 in for the CT then asked the guy if he would be kind enough to align the headlights before doing the test. He did and got an bit extra for his trouble when I paid the fee.[:)]
