Is is compulsory to change your UK driving license to a French one?see http://www.rhone.pref.gouv.fr/web/77-echange-permis-etranger.php (I live in 69)Extract: Cette mesure ne s'applique pas aux détenteurs d'un permis de conduire en cours de validité issu de l'un des pays de l'Union Européenne pour lequel l'échange n'est pas obligatoire. Le permis de conduire doit être enregistré en Préfecture.So if you register your license (they give you a blue certificate "Enregistrement d'un permis de conduir l'Union Européenne" , which I have) so I don't see a need to change my license.
