Anyone heard of this type of crime, the target is often women. What happens is that you get back to your car after shopping or whatever and sling your handbag in and climb into the cab, start the engine and look in the rear view mirror. You are just going to reverse out of the parking slot when you notice a piece of paper stuck on the back window so you get out, leaving the engine running, to remove it in order to have a clear view. Matey jumps into the cab and roars off with your car, handbag and all your papers. In view of the recent tragedy in the UK the risks here are obvious. Police have suggested that you don't get out but lock your doors and go, removing the paper later. I received this in an email from a French friend, anyone heard of this, is it new?........................JR

PS This site thinks that it is a hoax or urban legend but it seems to me that it might work sad to say.
