Howie
Hello. My French is not good and I wonder if I can just ask if anyone knows of a friendly garage who can do an engine tune and repair a brake pipe? I've just taken an old Peugeot 406 in for a CT and, (if I've got it right), it seems that the the only obligitory repairs necessary are: 1/ Canalisation de frein.2/ Teneur en co et valeur du lambda des gaz echappement. (Leaking brake fluid and high gas emissions)?Any advice would be very welcome!Thank you.

mikeinfrance
I'm guessing you have resolved this now! Sorry I missed it before.I've used teh Roady in LRB a couple of times and I am there for work a couple of times a week. If you needed anything another time let me know.RegardsMike
Howie
Thanks Mike. You must be quite close then. We've probably got a couple of mutual Anglo-friends!Anyway, yes, Roady at LRB did the work and it wasn't too expensive. CT all done now. In fact, the car's in the UK at the moment but I'm travelling back to Nivillac tomorrow.Cheers.Howard.
mikeinfrance
Hi HowardI've just tried to mail you privately and had the mail bounce.I hope your journey back goes smoothly tomorrow. We may well have a few joint contacts in town. Perhaps when you are settled back here we could meet for a coffee. If you let me know when you are around I'll ring and set something up.RegardsMike email mikehewlett@lbvfrance.com
