Mr Coeur de Lion
I seem to remember someone on here exported a car from France to the US.Can't find the thread but am hoping to get some feedback anyway.Within the next couple of years, I'm expecting to make the move to the US (all things being well).Just thinking about the possibility of taking my car over too. As I'll be shipping just a few sentimental items of furniture etc, I was considering shipping my car over too and putting these items in the car to save space and money.Does anyone know if firstly I can put things in my car when it shipped.Secondly, what requirements for registering my car over there are and what I need to do in France to say to them my car is leaving france. And also if any modifications will be needed to be made to the car in order for it to work over there? This is all just pie in the sky thoughts at the moment, just considering options and stuff like that, but I would move to take my little convertible over to the States if it is feasible.
