Bob T
Who has told you? If your car is later than 2000 then try to get one from Ford UK, it may be free.
wallifer
It was the insurance company I phoned to get a quote from.
Anton Redman II
If you apply from a UK address and vechile is still on UK plates you are more likely to get it free.
Bob T
An insurance company has no jurisdiction and so cannot tell you where to get a CofC from. It is the prefecture who handle the CofC and as it is a European document, you can get it from Ford UK.
Sunday Driver
If your car was first registered after 1998 and you are the first owner, then Ford UK are obliged to provide you with an EU CoC free of charge. If you are not the first owner, then they may charge a fee. If they do, then you can always haggle. Your address is immaterial. To order a CoC, e-mail them at coc@ford.com
