Alis badge and UK bank account?

Does anybody know if you get an Alis badge without a French bank account?

I did a quick search here & on the Alis site, and can't find the

answer, so before I call Alis tomorrow (today being a holiday), on behalf of some visiting friends I

thought I'd ask here....

I don't think it's possible. What I do is send my badge (in its little bag or it might trigger and charge you whilst in transit!) to visitors and they pay me back when I get the bill.  Of course that only works with those you really trust.[:)]

You do need a french account for an Alis tag, I contacted Christine Zurkinden to check a few months back.

I didn't get a little bag to put it in though, I got a map of france showing peage's and a gillet.

We got the bag, but not the map or gilet! I'd have preferred to wrap the doofer in foil and have the map and gilet!  [:)]
