bettyboop
We arent resident in France, but have just bought a car to leave in France to use when we visit. The car is a Mercedes originally bought in Belgium, we have the German Certificate of Conformity that was issued when the car was new, the car was then registered in the UK,its ideal a lefthand drive and the headlamps can be switched to the right way.Is the German C of C valid in France as its in German? Can we register it in France if we are not resident, we have had a house in France for 10 years? Thanks in advance
Sunday Driver
EU certificates of conformity all follow a standard format. Your German example is valid for France. You can register the car to your French address.
