Bugsy
This was sent to me from a french biker friend. I have no idea whether it will work but its an interesting thought for anyone who should find themselves in this position.CONSEIL DE GENDARME : lis n'efface pas... et transmets aux amis !... .
Pickles
It appears to be a hoax:http://www.hoaxbuster.com/hoaxliste/hoax.php?idArticle=54144The only way to avoid the points is not to commit the offence, even inadvertently, it would appear.RegardsPickles
Jay
Well no doubt you will never get to test it as you don't speed anyway!I would imagine the coppers would get a bit curious if they receive a load of cheques for the wrong amount.

AnOther
A similar tale surfaces in UK every so often but I doubt you'll find a first hand report of it working.
