Clair Posted June 23, 2011 Share Posted June 23, 2011 Vers un nouveaumodèle de permis de conduire à partir de janvier 2013Publié le 22.06.2011Le ministère de l’intérieur, de l’outre-mer,des collectivités territoriales et de l’immigration propose enligne une synthèse concernant la réforme du permis de conduire quidoit se mettre en place à partir de janvier 2013.A compter de cette date, le permis de conduireprendra en effet la forme d’une carte de crédit sur laquelle serainsérée une photographie avec les mentions liées à l’état-civilet aux droits à conduire du conducteur. Par ailleurs, ce nouveaupermis contiendra une puce électronique et une bande de lectureoptique. A noter qu’à partir de janvier 2013, les conducteursayant un ancien modèle de permis devront le renouveler d’icijanvier 2033. Enfin, une fois obtenu ce nouveau modèle, il seraobligatoire de le renouveler chaque 15 ans.Cette réforme s’inscrit dans le cadre d’unedirective européenne de 2006 qui prévoit un format unique etsécurisé pour les permis de conduire délivrés dans les pays del’Union européenne (UE).Towardsa new model for driver's licenses from January 2013Published on 06/22/2011The Ministry of the Interior [...] proposes an online overview on the reformof driver's license to be set up in January 2013.As of this date, the driving license will take on the formof a credit card on which will include a photograph, together with mentions of the holder's ID and rights to operate a vehicle. Moreover, this newlicense will contain a microchip and a machine-readable zone. Notethat as of January 2013, drivers with an older license will have torenew it by January 2033.
