Caravan purchase - is it the same Certificate de Cession to be used?

A friend wants me to check out a caravan for her and tow it back to her house. Its a cheap thing with a carte gris. When buying, do I use a normal Certificate de Cession or is there something caravan specific?

Also, it is 99% unlikely to see the road again - she wants it for other reasons on her property. Is she obliged to change the carte gris which I assume will cost money?

Hi Dave,

Its the same form (Cerfa 13754*01), you should also receive a Certificate Non-gage.

As to the obligation to change the Carte Gris, I don't know but from memory when we registered our caravan, it wasn't a lot of money.

The old carte grise covers you for towing the vehicle to your friend's house. If she doesn't intend putting it on the road again, then there's no need for her to obtain a fresh carte grise.
