CHANGING OWNERSHIP OF A CAR

Before coming to France I gave my daughter my car. She is now also living in France and is going to buy a new car so she is going to give me my car back (hope that's clear!) No money will change hands but we need to re-register the car in my name. Any rules/regs/tips on the proceedure would be much appreciated. We live in different areas,

Does she have a carte grise for the car? If so she probably should fill in a form Declaration de Cession d'un Vehicule, which you get from the prefecture. Then you should get a new carte grise in your name.

If there's no carte grise, I don't know the answer;
