Selling vehicle: completing certificate de immatriculation

Hi, could someone please confirm if I've got this correct?

I'm hopefully selling to a private buyer.

On the body of the certificate de immatriculation I write vendu le followed by date` of sale and my signature. Does the document need to be struck through like we'd cross a cheque?

On the detachable coupon I enter the buyers details date of sale and my signature passing both parts to the buyer.

Complete 3 copies of certificate de cession, 1 for my records (and to use to cancel insurance) 1 for me to send to prefecture where vehicle was registered when I purchased it, final copy for buyer.

Print off certificate de non gage to give to buyer (although I understand this is not compulsory)

Kind regards

Mike

Yes.

Everything else you mention is correct.

Finally, if the vehicle is more than four years old, you'll need to provide the buyer with a controle technique certificate dated no earlier than six months ago.
