Jo
Does anyone know if there is a limit on how soon you can have your car CTed?Mine is due on the 18th May, but I would like to have it done sooner, as if it fails I would probably replace it and my son is coming over from the UK in April and has offered to drive one over if I wanted to buy from there. nomoss
You can have the CT done on your car any time you wish. The CT centre will be only too happy to take your money[:D]
Anton Redman
However unlike a UK MOT they will not post date it till the expiry of previous MOT subject to from memory a maximum of 12 months
AnOther
It's a maximum of 13 months for a UK MOT Anton. One of the risks of going for a very early CT is that if you get a 'contra visite' (a fail in other words) regardless of how long the existing sticker had to run they will remove it and replace it with a special one which denotes a fail from which you have 2 months to put things right and have it re-tested.
