CeeJay
I have a right hand drive UK bought car which has been re-registered in France. The time now seems right to sell it, and I intend to buy another from UK. What are the realistic prospects of finding a buyer for that type of car in France. AnOther
At the right price everything will sell. What it is and condition are of course highly significant factors but as a broad rule of thumb reckon on getting at least 25% less than you would for the equivalent LHD car [;-)]If it's in bargain banger territory then the chances of selling it are quite good as youngsters will be interested and won't necessarily care if the wheel is on the wrong side. For example if your car is likely to appeal to a young person it can be considered quite cool to have a RHD car. If you are selling on an old estate car then that will appeal to someone, especially a UK expat, who wants a legal car to use for transporting hay etc for animals. We sold my OH's old estate for just that use on an internet info site that permits sales. It was a free ad and the car sold within a short time.Sue
