Still, I suppose it's case of the more confusion the better. PaulT Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Another computer system to handle the online queries.Just read that the system so that people in the UK can register to vote (note not to actually vote) has cost £100M - how the hell did it cost so much.always amazes me how companies take on these projects, screw them up and walk away normally with a big fat cheque........during my time in the NHS I have seen some almighty cock-ups on IT systems that have cost a fortune but do not work. I found out that they had several of these small mainframes and I don't think that I found any of the so called IT bosses in the departments knew of any of the other machines!Oh yes, and that was the place where a couple of the IT bosses were done for fraud [blink] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
