No Poo

Just seen this article. Have attempted to copy and paste it below. It seems the journalist was attempting to prove that shampoo is deadly and poured some into a goldfish bowl, killing the poor fish. She got taken to court for her trouble - inflicting unnecessary suffering on the goldfish. She proved her point though. Found guilty originally but had the decision reversed recently. I think I read it right. Anyway, I'm definitely not going back to shampoo now.

Morning Bubbles, personally I would still have found the journalist guilty, of stupidity if nothing else. If you put ordinary tap water into an aquarium the chlorine alone would see off a number of fish and that is what you use to wash your hair so it is still deadly? probably why fish have scales and not hair then [:)]

That's about on the same level as the Bible-thumping preacher giving a sermon on the evils of drink.

He gets 2 bottles, one of water and one of whisky and puts a worm in each. The one in water wriggles around were the other dies immediately

'There' say the preacher 'What does that tell us about strong drink?'

A voice from the back of the congregation speaks up

'If you've got worms, drink whisky!'

Or perhaps the chap who proved that crickets hear with their legs. He pulled off their legs, made a loud noise and the crickets didn't move. QED.

Amazingly enough a couple of years ago I read that their organs of hearing are on their legs. How's that for life imitating art?!

One good reason

Another

http://www.naturalnews.com/003210.html

There are dozens of good reasons for not chucking poisons on yer head just google 'shampoo dangers', but if you want to then be my guest. As a load of people know on here know that I have not used shampoo on my hair for 20 years now, just warm water, and nobody would ever guess. That is apart from the fact that my hair is better than it was 20 years ago!

For all of those who say OK it's np problem for a bloke with short hair my OH is just 3 months behind me and her hair is long, lovely, thick and shiney!

This is an old onion that has been talked about on here for several years and there are a number of folks on here who have benifited from not using shampoo. a few of them because I recomended it. Yes there is a period of about 3 weeks to a month, depending on if you have short or long hair, where it is not comfortable and your scalp is trying to come to terms that the cr a p that you have been putting on it is no longer stripping the oil from it. Then it settles down to a natural state and becomes wat it should be, thick healthy natural hair.

As I said, if you want to keep scouring your scalp then be my guest, but all you are doing is helping the profits of the chemical clowns who produce the  poison and in so not doing yourself any favours.

Edir :- I also think that the idiot that put that stuff in a fish tank should have been done to the limit of the law. Obviously a stupid unfeeling prat!

Perhaps you can't link because it's an ad.  So I'll set the scenario...

One cute little boy with chocolate around his mouth is eating his way through several choccy desserts.Mum (?) enters and catches said little boy in the act.   Little boy picks up the telelphone and tells mum he's calling the SPA as this time 'Maurice' has eaten his way through three desserts. He then drops the spoon into the goldfish bowl and says to the fish..."Tu pousses le bouton un peu trop loin, Maurice".

Daft little ad but it has always made me laugh.

The syntax of your link is incorrect;

http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXW0CjbLzmU if you delete the leading http:// you will get

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXW0CjbLzmU and it will work perfectly.[:D][:P]

When you copy a link it includes the http:// bit as well; unfortunately the URL box  also has this already entered, so when you paste the link it duplicates. I just eliminate the http:// bit before pasting the link which is easier than copying the link with the www. as the leading characters. Frankly I think it would make it easier if the bit already in the box was removed by the Admin.[I]
