woolybanana
What do you financially astute chaps reckon are the best rates currently available for monthly income in £ and €s, for a saver who has always used fixed rate bonds?
James2
Try Skipton Building Soc;5.75% gross interest paid monthlyNote. I have no business interests in this company, but found their bond a good investment.
Pickles
Try Skipton Building Soc;5.75% gross interest paid monthly.
I think this is only available as part of a combined fixed interest + stock market index investment, with one third of the investment going into the fixed interest element (for 1 year) and the other two-thirds going into a FTSE 100 index tracker for 5 years. Or that's what it seems from the website today. It does appear that many of the best buy rates in the UK have been terminated in the last couple of weeks.RegardsPickles
